ViSense CrowdDynamics

ViSense UrbanDynamics is the product to gain insight in any type of traffic situation. We perform temporary measurements for various types of infrastructure with various complexities, such as motorway interchanges, roundabouts with or without multiple driving lanes and crossings with turning lanes.

Using machine- and deep learning, ViSense UrbanDynamics analyzes the behavior of traffic participants. Not only motorized vehicles (such as cars, buses, trucks), but also pedestrians and cyclists are detected and analyzed accurately.

Measurements are performed by temporarily placing smart cameras or by using cabled drones with video equipment. We offer a full service, from transport, camera installation, data collection up to and including data analysis in our office. After the analysis period has finished, we provide a custom-tailored report, containing the answers to your mobility questions. Depending on your study questions, this report can contain information on queuing for traffic lights, the frequency of dangerous maneuvers, such as overtaking and U-turns, but also ignoring one-way traffic. The use of unique deep learning models even allows us to provide information on crossing pedestrians and the use of cyclist lanes.

ITS calibration

Intelligent Transport Systems are typically calibrated using traffic flows. ViSense is able to analyze and show these traffic flows, from multiple directions, including turns and complex maneuvers such as U-turns. This information can be used to improve the ITS calibration and thereby optimize the traffic flow.


Environmental planning

The traffic is evolving and roads become more crowded. Modifications to the current traffic infrastructure are essential to prevent congestions. ViNotion UrbanDynamics gives insight into the traffic flows of complex traffic situations, such as crossings and roundabouts. This way, ViSense enables to justify and validate infrastructural modifications.


Dangerous situations

The ViSense system consists of an advanced analysis unit and a high-grade camera sensor. The stylish, compact and energy efficient analysis unit is a wise addition to your premises.  With the optional server mount, the analysis unit can be mounted in a 19 inch server rack.
